The monograph highlights for the first time the historical aspects, modern experience, and methods of aviation use by countries around the world in the field of civil protection; it describes the risks of man-made and natural emergencies in various ecosystems; it substantiates the requirements for aviation in the interests of civil protection tasks; it examines the tactics of using aviation in emergency situations. The text of the monograph was prepared using publicly available materials based on the experience of foreign countries.
