The basic concepts of the resonance properties of electric motors and the charac teristics of series and parallel oscillating circuits are given. The phenomenon of reso nance of voltages and currents is considered. The resonance characteristics of series and parallel oscillating circuits and phase relations between currents and voltages are analyzed at frequencies below and above the resonance frequency. The basic concepts of parametric resonance are given.
